A detective game with a new case every morning
Somebody in a lamp-lit house has done something they shouldn’t. Question the suspects, search the rooms, work out who was where, and when. Then make your one accusation.
The phone rings with a new case every morning. Somebody did something they shouldn’t, while everyone slipped away once, alone, for an hour. No two went to the same room, and no two went at the same hour.
Tap a suspect to hear what they have to say. Tap a lit room to search it. Everything they tell you, and everything you find, goes into your notebook as a clue.
Drag each suspect onto the grid: the room above the square, the hour beside it. Tap a suspect’s card, then squares, to cross them off in red pencil. In the house they walk to the rooms you give them.
The evidence points at one of them. Name who, where and when. You only get one go, then the evening plays out in the house.
Stuck? A nudge shows the next thing you can work out, or who you haven’t asked yet. Nudges count in your result. Mondays are gentle; weekends are hard.
You get one go at this case.
