Farms and food
Crop health for every field, every few days. Spot a dry corner before the yield map does.
24 satellites, imaging the day side now
Swath is a constellation of imaging satellites you can task from a browser. Draw a box anywhere, and the next one over leans in to capture it, often within hours.
How it sees
Each satellite crosses the day side in about 45 minutes, imaging a 220 km strip below it. Four planes, six satellites in each, spaced so most places come round again within three hours.
Tasking
Drag on the Earth to draw a box anywhere.Tap the Earth to drop a box anywhere. Swath finds the next satellite that can see it in daylight, then runs the clock forward to the pass.
Monitoring
The same fields, imaged every few days. Scrub the year: wheat greens up, the rapeseed flowers, harvesters leave their stripes. Click a field to see how green it's been.
14 May
Crop health for every field, every few days. Spot a dry corner before the yield map does.
Flood and fire extent the morning after, with a before image from the archive to compare.
New clearings flagged within a day of the first tree coming down, with the image to prove it.
Weekly progress on sites and lines across a country, without sending anyone out.
For developers
Send a polygon and a time window. The answer tells you which satellite will take it, when, and at what angle. A webhook fires when the image is ready, usually within an hour of the pass.
